Are you a landlord?

If your property is equiped with gas appliances that you supplied with the property, it is your legal responsbility to do as follows:

Maintain pipework, appliances and flues in a safe condition.
Every 12 months agas safety check must be carried out on every gas appliance/flue. This check will ensure all gas fittings and appliances are safe to use.
Once a check is carried out, you should be issued a certificate. A copy of the certificate must be provided to your tenant within 28 days of the check being completed. New tenants should also be given a copy before they move in.

All installation, maintenance and safety checks involving gas MUST be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
