Established back in 1986, Park Lane Properties has over twenty years’ experience of residential property management and currently handles over 100 properties in the Newmarket and Cambridge area, from small city flats to country houses.

Our aim is to deal with both landlords and tenants with the minimum of fuss and the maximum of efficiency. As landlords ourselves we treat our clients’ properties as we do our own and fully understand the importance of controlling costs, organising maintenance, respecting our tenants - and, of course, collecting the rent on time!

With Park Lane Properties, you won’t find glossy brochures or insurance you don’t need. What you will find is a straightforward and professional management service. It is this personal approach to all our clients that is at the heart of our business.

Our full property management service includes:

* Finding suitable tenants
* Checking appropriate references
* Completion of Tenancy Agreements and S tatutory Notices under the 1988 Housing Act
* Obtaining a dilapidation deposit and first month’s rent (minus our costs and fee)
* Rent collection and monthly payment into your account
* Monthly statement of your account
* Property inspections every three to four months

THE PEOPLE

With a background in hotel management and consumer finance, Logan set up Park Lane Properties in 1986, in part because no existing property management company was able to handle his own property portfolio to his satisfaction! He relishes the role of bringing landlords and tenants together in a harmonious, and profitable, relationship. Outside of work his main passions are motorcycling and boating, although he flatly denies any obsession with leather or water. Logan is also unique in regarding himself as a potential amateur actor.

Cathy is likely to be your first point of contact at Park Lane Properties, where she has made the smooth administration of the property portfolio into an art form. Totally unflappable, she has no concept of the word `crisis`. Cathy and Logan are partners in the real world too and she is rumoured to regard work as a welcome relief from the frantic pace of her domestic life.
