Our History

In 1965, Fisks opened its first estate agency office on Canvey Island.

Today, some 40 years after it was first established, Fisks is unique – the first truly proactive, customer-focused estate agency in the UK. Since 1997, we have pioneered a radically new customer-focused way of doing business. Called The Fisks Way, this is based on a revolutionary consultative approach to estate agency. In the simplest terms, this means that we always take the time and the trouble to focus on our clients’ wants and needs – rather than just doing what is quickest, easiest and the least trouble for us.
As part of this new philosophy, we’ve taken the best ideas from around the world, invested in the latest technology, recruited a team of Property Consultants unlike any other in the business, and put them through the most advanced training programme in the industry.

Open Hours - Our Essex branches are open from 9am to 9pm weekdays so while other agents have already gone home, we’re still working for your specific property needs.

Pricing Your Home - We assist you in helping you understand the true value of your property which we do by providing you with a DVD, or video if you prefer, called “Pricing Your Home” – this is an independent production by the University of Central England and is a great tool for knowing the “why’s” and ”what’s” behind property pricing.

Are you interested in buying property abroad? Our International office can assist you with all your needs from enquiry through to actually moving abroad.

Is the City for you? We have a dedicated sales and lettings office located in Docklands, just a stone’s throw from Canary Wharf, who are on hand to advise you with any property matter you may have concerning the Docklands and East London area.

Our Financial Services department provides our clients with totally independent advice, and a “under one roof” search service so you don’t have to visit every lender individually, saving you much needed time!
