Established since 1983 in a village called West Didsbury in the south of Manchester, started out as a small family business, trading under the name of ‘Hartley Homefinders’.
We steadily grew into a larger organisation offering a huge range of accommodation, especially catering for the student/postgraduate market. In 2003 we outgrew our West Didsbury offices and expanded and moved to larger premises in the heart of Withington village. We also changed our trading name to ‘Checkus Properties’. This move consequently enabled us to offer a wider selection of properties, incorporating catering for professionals.
Today we are one of South Manchester’s main accommodation agency’s offering well over 200 properties in and around the Manchester area.
